Traffic Advisory:
February 15, 2010 Maryland vs. Virginia Basketball Game
Fans attending the Maryland vs Virginia Men’s Basketball game on Wednesday, February 10th should be prepared for very heavy traffic between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. A combination of a 7:00pm tip-off, rush hour traffic, and UMUC night school will provide for greater traffic congestion than previous games this season. We recommend that you take the following precautions:
1.Allow plenty of time for arriving and parking,
2. DO use Route 193 and Adelphi Road to get to Lot Z and Lot 1
3. Avoid using Route One South and Paint Branch Parkway.
Please click here to find the recommended incoming directions.
University Faculty/Staff and Students not attending the game should consider using alternate transportation such as Metro and Shuttle UM. Those who drive should use Use Route 193 and Adelphi Road. It is recommended to avoid Route One and Paint Branch Parkway when exiting the campus.
