Odyssey of the Mind Transportation Options

BWI Airport Transportation

What: Airport greeting service and bus transportation between BWI Airport and the University of Maryland.

When: May 25th - 31st, 2011

Cost: $50/person roundtrip; $35/person one-way

Shuttle Schedules: Schedules will be based on the flight times of those who have registered.


Hotel Transportation

We also offer daily transportation to/from select area hotels located in the 8/9000 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD to campus. Bus service will be provided on a regular basis throughout your stay. The cost is $50 per person.

Dulles Airport Transportation

We may be able to offer other transportation options. Larger groups arriving from Dulles airport with travel requests should contact: (301) 314-7271.

Paratransit Transportation

During the Odyssey of the Mind Competion, paratransit service is available upon request. This curb to curb, on demand service is for participants with disablilities. The buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and ramps.

UMD's Department of Transportation Services' buses are available for rental to Odyssey of the Mind participants who would like to organize day trips to various local attractions, including:

Washington, DC: Smithsonian Museums, Lincoln Memorial, White House

Baltimore: Inner Harbor, Maryland Science Center, National Aquarium

Historic Annapolis: State Captial of Maryland, Naval Academy, Downtown Area
