Seats for the Thanksgiving trip are sold out. Please call the DOTS office at (301) 314-7179 if you would like to be put on the wait list.
The Department of Transportation Services provides transportation to Metropark, N.J. and New York City for the Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks. Our bus(es) departs from the Stamp Student Union on campus and drops off passengers at Port Authority in New York City between 8th and 9th avenues on 42nd Street. For return trips, our bus(es) will pick up from this area (between 8th and 9th avenues on 42nd Street) and return to campus.
Seating is usually very limited particularly for the Thanksgiving trip. It is advised that you register as soon as possible after registration begins.
Registration begins Monday, October 5th
To register, the passenger must come into our office at Regents Drive Garage to fill out a registration form and pay for the trip at the same time.
The cost is $25 one-way, and $40 round-trip. Payment can be made in the forms of cash, credit card or can be posted to your student account.
IMPORTANT: Any refunds (regardless of method of payment) will be made to your student account.
Refunds for either portion of the trip will not be issued for cancellations after November 13, 2009.

OTHER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
NOTE: Please note this is only transportation from and to campus. Passengers are responsible for their own travel arrangements upon reaching the destination point.
If this trip conflicts with student schedules, bus transportation to New York City is also provided through Greyhound Lines, Megabus, Boltbus, and New Century Travel among others.
- Transportation to BWI is also available by connecting to the Greenbelt Metro Station from College Park on the Green Metrorail Line and taking the B30 Express Metrobus to BWI Airport.
